From the school year 2015 – 2016 our center, in the afternoons, works as a Creative Activities Center for children of Kindergarten age up to 6th Primary School. In this way CAC – Stroumfakia tries to serve and offer a proposal to working parents, but also to children who want imagination, play, colors and music for their afternoons! The goal of our C.A.C. is to be a pole of creative pastime and free expression. Through the game and with guide the interests of the children, is followed a path that changes and is enriched in the field of theatrical-musical-kinetic play and the artistic ones.

Aim

The goal of our C.A.C. is to be a pole of creative pastime and free expression. Through the game and with guide the interests of the children, is followed a path that changes and is enriched in the field of theatrical-musical-kinetic play and the artistic ones. The aims of Creative Activities Center «STROUMFAKIA» are:
  • to help children bring out their creativity, cultivate their expressive skills and have fun.
  • all learning objects provided to be in the form of a game and not a lesson.
  • let the children choose the subject they will deal with, the way they will approach it and the time they will spend.
  • to relieve the busy schedule of working parents at home.
  • to support working mothers in looking after their children outside of school hours.
  • The contribution of the Creative Activities Center to the socialization of children is particularly important, as they socialize daily with children of various ages. They help them escape the isolation of the modern lifestyle, which wants children to be passive receivers of the modern technology that has invaded every home.
  • Finally, children can meet and communicate with their friends in an atmosphere of freedom and safety, without competition and expediency, with respect for the uniqueness and personality of each child.
